Hillsborough Parent Advisory Council
Who We Are:
The Hillsborough Parent Advisory Council, an all-volunteer group of parents and teachers whose focus is on issues in special education. The group was formed in January 2008 in accordance with New Jersey Education Code. Our Parent Advisory Council is a system-wide organization, and we hope to work closely with school staff and our Home and School Associations across the district, to increase special education awareness and presence within each school, and to assist parents and staff in the special education process, by facilitating communication between home and school, collaborating, problem solving, and most importantly by giving parent input in planning for children with regard to special education needs and issues.
